Research Centres
The Institute brings together component Research Centres in a collaborative effort to drive our research objectives.
The McGill Genome Centre is at the forefront of genome sciences, with applications spanning precision medicine, microbiome studies, genome, metabolome, and proteomic analysis, along with data sciences. In addition, these services are extended to the broader scientific community.
The Canadian Centre for Computational Genomics (C3G) plays a vital role in providing bioinformatics analysis, software development, and high-performance computing services to the life science research community. They lead and support numerous large-scale projects and have contributed valuable tools and software solutions for the genomics field.
The Centre of Genomics and Policy (CGP) operates at the intersection of law, medicine, and public policy. Through multidisciplinary perspectives, interdisciplinary collaboration, and partnerships at both national and international levels, the CGP critically examines the socio-ethical and legal norms influencing the promotion, prevention, and protection of human health.
The McGill University Research Centre on Complex Traits stands as a beacon of excellence in multidisciplinary research and education. Its primary mission is to uncover the genetic and molecular foundations of infectious, inflammatory, and immunity-related diseases.
